She heard what my concerns were and what I was envisioning, and used her expertise and knowledge to make it a reality. Working with my landscaper, Carmen DeVito designed 2 absolutely beautiful new spaces for me using existing plants where appropriate, and adding new ones where needed. The results are absolutely spectacular and everyone who has seen the new gardens is in awe of the transformation. Carmen is so easy to work with, listened totally to what I wanted and didn't, and developed a design that makes me want to spend so much more time outdoors. Local Goblin2022-01-24Carmen @ Garden Cult did our Brooklyn backyard last fall and it was a terrific experience. We are all so smitten with Instagram and Pinterest gardens these days, I wasn't sure what would work in our space, was overwhelmed by all the possibilities and needed someone who could put all the pieces together. After I reached out to her and gave her my thoughts and parameters, she created a plan and I pretty much just went with it. She is a joy to work with, responsive, professional, of course has tons of knowledge about plants and design, and was within my budget. We planted late last summer/early fall, so I'm excited to see the seasonal growth and change from spring to summer through fall and back to winter again.
